Call to contribute to background report for Eurochild conference ‘Building a better Europe with Children: All Aboard!’
Eurochild has commissioned a team led by Cath Larkins from The Centre for Children and Young People’s Participation at the University of Central Lancashire in the UK to prepare a background report for its conference to be held from 29-31 October in Opatija, Croatia.
The report will include positive examples of how government decision-making at local, regional, national, European and international levels are respecting the right of children to participate. The report and conference will provide advice to children and professionals from across Europe who will attend the conference. A lot of these examples are already available in existing research, reports and data. These will be reviewed and included in the report.
We would like to hear your ideas, experiences and examples of doing child participation; achieving change and impact; convincing people to support child participation and being inclusive. Please share your examples and experiences by completing this survey, which is available in French and English!
If you would like to share examples in other languages or have any questions, please contact Cath Larkins: CLarkins(at)uclan.ac(dot)uk
Deadline for completing the survey is 22 March.
