Children's rights for all - Monitoring the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child for children with intellectual disabilities - Report on France
The aim of the project ‘Children’s Rights for All: Monitoring the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child for children with intellectual disabilities’ is to analyse the implementation of the CRC from the perspective of children with intellectual disabilities in 23 countries of the European Union.
The project combines the expertise on intellectual disability and on children’s rights of the project partners - Inclusion Europe, Eurochild and the Faculty of Education at the Charles University, Prague and the 23 national experts. The national reports include a critical analysis of the content and resources available in the latest State report to the Committee on the Rights of the Child as well as the latest alternative report(s) from NGOs.
A European report will then offer a comparison of the collected results and analysis from the 23 countries. On the basis of these analyses, recommendations for actions at European and national level were developed.
