CRAE submits reports on children's rights to the United Nations
Children's Rights Alliance for England (CRAE), together with other children’s charities, has launched a report highlighting how Government policies and spending decisions have failed to prioritise children. Based on the evidence in the report, children's charities are asking the Government to put children at the centre of decision-making, including in the forthcoming Budget.
To understand the impact government decisions have on children, CRAE carried out research among nearly 1,000 marginalised children in England. The research report covers children’s views on being respected, their experience of violence, being in care, poverty, and how they are treated in school.
Both reports have been submitted to the United Nations.
