Break the Cycle Conference

The Importance of Interagency Collaboration in Breaking the Cycle of Inequality for Children and Young People through Prevention, Early Intervention and Family Support.

This event by Eurochild, the Irish Department of Children, Disability and Equality, Eurofound, Eurochild member the Children’s Rights Alliance, and Tusla- the Child and Family Agency- is part of the EU Presidency Programme of Events.

With contributions from local, national and European experts and stakeholders, showcases of community impact as well as performance and inputs from children and young people, the conference promises to be a brilliant opportunity for civil society stakeholders to learn from best practice examples and discuss the challenges and opportunities in the delivery of prevention, early intervention and family support services.

The Eurochild Children's Council will play an active role in the discussions.

This conference is a side event to the official meeting on the European Child Guarantee, which will bring together coordinators from member states. Discussions will focus on family supports, inclusion in Early Childhood Care and Education, and the way forward to further strengthening the Child Guarantee.

Location:  Radisson Blu Hotel, Golden Ln, Dublin 8, D08 VRR7
