Eurochild Conference 2026
#EurochildConf: "Social Protection Systems". 16-17 June, Paphos, Cyprus.
The Conference will be co-organised by Eurochild member The Pancyprian Coordinating Committee for the Protection and Welfare of Children (PCCPWC) and hosted by the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU).
We aim to attract up to 150 participants, including children and young people, representatives from local authorities, national and international policymakers, academics specialising in children’s rights and child protection, NGOs working with children and families from disadvantaged backgrounds, and child rights advocates.

- Workshops - for members-only (Deadline: 23 January 2026)
The conference will include up to 12 workshops where members can showcase positive examples related to the event theme and provide evidence-based input to policy debates on children’s rights and social protection in Europe. - Human Library (Deadline: 23 January 2026)
The Human Library will enable 15 participants to engage in small-group discussions on specific aspects of the conference topic based on personal experiences.

FAQs
- Where can I register? Is it free?
Registrations will start mid-February. One representative from each member organisation can register for free. Otherwise, registration fees are set at 200€. More information on the Fees and Sponsorship Policy.
- Is sponsorship available if I can’t cover my own travel and accommodation?
Our co-organisers are fundraising to support Eurochild members who don’t have the means to cover travel and accommodation costs but could bring a valued perspective if attending the event. Don’t hesitate to include in your workshop or human library application form that you don’t have the means to attend and that you are seeking Eurochild support.
- Can children register to the Conference?
Absolutely, children are more than welcome! Eurochild will not be able to sponsor participants for their travel and accommodation but children and their accompanying adult will be exempted from the registration fee.
- Can I purchase tickets on arrival at the conference?
No, the Presidency of the Council of the European Union is organising the event under its patronage, and advance registration is compulsory for security reasons.
- Do I need a visa to enter Cyprus?
