December 2025: Eurochild network welcomes 10 new members

Over the past weeks, Eurochild has expanded its membership following a recent voting process by full members on organisational governance and membership matters. Below, we introduce the newest members.

One individual was admitted as an honorary member:

  • Ann Skelton, based in the Netherlands, was the Chairperson of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child and Programme Director of the Advanced Master's in International Children's Rights at the University of Leiden. As an internationally renowned child rights expert, she continues to be involved in, and contribute to, international and regional children's rights bodies and forums.

Seven organisations were admitted as full members:

  • Trust for Social Achievement, Bulgaria, is a grant-making nongovernmental organisation working to break the cycle of poverty and reduce inequalities so that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. They focus on systemic barriers that deepen achievement gaps, particularly for Roma and other overlooked communities.
  • Breza Association, Croatia, is a legally constituted civil society organisation with more than two decades of continuous work in the field of child protection, education, and youth empowerment. The Association provides social and educational services through several structured programmes.
  • Health Services Research Centre, Cyprus, aims tostudy health systems and their reforms, develop innovative solutions to public health challenges and answer important questions on how to improve health services to make them more equitable, accessible and effective for those in need. They provide a platform for collaboration between the health and social care and research communities.
  • Asociace Dité a Rodina (Association Child and Family), Czechia, is an umbrella organisation that brings together 87 organisations from across the Czech Republic that help vulnerable children and their families. The vision of the Association is for every child to experience a happy childhood and a safe, long-term and loving relationship with a close adult, ideally within a family.
  • CyberSafeKids, Ireland, works to create a safer online world for children through education, giving voice to children’s online experience, and by being a fierce advocate for children’s online safety. They offer interactive workshops tailored to children, parents, and educators, covering topics like cyberbullying, privacy, gaming, and screen time management.
  • Guimaraes Human Rights Defense Association, Portugal, works to promote gender equality and human rights with a focus on solidarity, justice, social equality, and poverty reduction. It seeks to raise awareness on citizenship and equality between men and women, combat all forms of violence and discrimination affecting people of all ages, and develop preventive actions through information and education.
  • Charitable Fund “BGV”, Ukraine, focuses on supporting children and as well as other vulnerable populations affected by the war in Ukraine. They implement programmes in the areas of psychosocial support, access to quality education, cultural and sports development, and crisis response to ensure the safety, development, and well-being of the younger generation.

Two organisations were admitted as associate members:

  • Hungarian Child Rights Coalition facilitates dialogue and active collaboration between civil organisations and experts working on child protection and rights, aiming to develop a unified vocabulary and understanding around children's rights issues. The Coalition works systematically to address major topics such as child poverty, child protection reform, access to justice, non-discrimination, and child participation.
  • Kids of Ukraine Charity Fund is a non-profit organisation dedicated to assisting initiatives that aid children and their families in overcoming war trauma, adjusting to new circumstances, and uncovering their inherent strengths. Their mission is to preserve and restore the mental health of Ukrainian adolescents, support their adaptation to new environments, and help children affected by war build resilience using well-proven tools.
