Eurochild hosts information session for civil society organisations to receive funding under Daphne-CHILD programme
The session outlined the Daphne-CHILD’s approach and vision and grant criteria for Eurochild’s and Terre des hommes’ new sub-granting and capacity-building programme to empower CSOs working to address violence against children.
On 28 October, Eurochild organised an Information Session as part of our new Daphne-CHILD sub-granting and capacity-building programme for civil society organisations (CSOs) working to tackle violence against children in 9 European countries. 400 civil society representatives registered to participate in this event to learn more about this new funding opportunity.
Across the programme’s lifecycle, we will sub-grant a total of €1.3 million Euro to CSOs.
Our programme aims to fund small local-level CSOs working directly with children growing up in marginalised circumstances, in particular children in alternative care, children in socio-economically disadvantaged situations, children with disabilities, Roma children, asylum seeking children and children in minority groups.
Each project supported will need to involve child participation throughout.
The Information Session offered participants a chance to better understand the funding call’s objectives, eligibility criteria, process for applying, and timeline from submission through to the start of funding for successful projects.
The Daphne-CHILD programme team is so grateful to everyone who participated in our Information Session, and looks forward to receiving Expressions of Interest by 14 November by 17:00 CET.
