New strategy on child protection in France

New strategy on child protection in France released in October 2019 has triggered several reactions from civil society organisations.

Eurochild’s member National Federation of Association for Child Protection – CNAPE welcomes the new national strategy on child protection in particular the measures on prevention and protection of children and families that are in line with the positions defended by the federation. CNAPE has been advocating in long-term for the development of measures to protect a child (from 0-18) and for range of services to adequately respond to the needs of child and family.

UNICEF France has also released its reaction. According to them the strategy introduces the useful measures but more needs to be done.
