Our Outreach and Communications in 2024

Annual Report 2024.

Our communications efforts saw significant growth this year, with increased content production, stronger engagement, and greater visibility across multiple platforms. The following figures highlight our expanding reach and impact, demonstrating how our work continues to resonate both online and offline.

Some stats:

  • Website views: 24K → 38.8K (+58%)
  • Articles published: 157 (equivalent to one every two days)
  • LinkedIn followers: 6,300 → 9,182 (+45%)
  • Instagram followers: 1,500 → 1,899 (+26%)
  • Facebook followers: 8,700 → 8,918 (a solid result despite the platform’s decline)
  • Governance emails open rate: 45.9% → 54.88%
  • InfoFlash open rate: 46% → 51%

Our newsletter engagement remains outstanding, particularly when compared to the European industry average email open rate. Several figures have remained stable, including:

  • eNews Bulletin subscribers: 3.2K
  • Members’ Room users: 600
  • Members’ articles: 50

This year, we significantly increased both the production of content and the visibility of our work, fostering greater engagement across online and offline platforms.

  • We piloted a podcast on children’s rights, providing a dedicated space for reflection and diverse perspectives, which continues in 2025.
  • We collaborated with illustrators and designers to create visually compelling reports and social media visuals, ensuring our publications were both informative and aesthetically engaging.
  • We produced My Dad’s Journey, an animated short film on fatherhood engagement in the care of young children.
  • A major milestone was the in-house development and filming of our first short documentary on child participation, DAY - Changing the City, which was shot with children participating in the DAY project, and that was highly appreciated and reinforced the importance of children's voices in decision-making.

We produced an online Annual Report 2023, featuring our achievements and a summary video.
