Finland - Country Profile on the European Semester and COVID-19 crisis

The government’s support to families and children during the crisis was adequate. However, with regard to remote teaching, there are profound inequalities between and even within municipalities and schools.

Furthermore, NGOs were unable to fully respond to children, young people’s and families’ increased need of services. Some NGOs had to prioritise their work even within vulnerable groups.
