Promising Practices from the European Child Guarantee

Eurochild monitors the implementation of the European Child Guarantee by analysing Biennial Reports and members' insights, identifying rights-based practices that combat child poverty while recognising children’s well-being within their family, school, and community contexts.

While not exhaustive, this compilation of practices from Member States serves as a resource to inspire policy development, strategic funding allocation and cross-country learning, contributing to the broader goal of the European Child Guarantee: ensuring that every child in Europe has the support and opportunities they need to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Key services:

  • Early childhood care and education
  • Education
  • Healthcare
  • Healthy nutrition and a healthy meal each school day
  • Housing
