Care reform in Bulgaria is far from over

Together with National Network for Children - Bulgaria we prepared a statement: Care reform in Bulgaria is far from over.

Bulgaria is often held up as a success story of how the EU can support deinstitutionalisation. The recently published Disability Rights Internationalreport challenges that claim. We share this claim. However Bulgaria should receive credit for progress that has been made. Unfortunately the story is far from over.
