Heroes cry too - Colouring book for children from Ukraine

Eurochild has designed and printed a colouring book for children dealing with the fears linked to the war in Ukraine. The book is illustrated by Ksenia Potępa and written by Alicja Safarzynska, a Polish child psychologist, in consultation with a number of child therapists, traumatologists and PTSD psychologists and has been translated in Ukrainian. It is the story of Myszka escaping the war and Ryjówka, who hosts her at her home.

The books are being distributed in schools and facilities supporting children fleeing the war.

For more information, including printable files of the books, please reach out to Ciaran O’Donnell, Eurochild Partnerships and Programmes Officer.
