Macro Group and Eurochild partner to support children’s rights
Macro Group and Eurochild are pleased to announce the Step Up Challenge, a new partnership aimed at supporting children’s rights and wellbeing across Europe through employee fundraising and volunteering activities.
Macro Group, a global facilities management and work, chose Eurochild as its charity partner, inspiring employees to make individual donations in support of its mission.
In 2025 only, Eurochild worked across Europe to advance children’s rights, engaging with members, policymakers and partners more than 6,700 times and contributing to over 400 meetings and events. We carried out more than 1,300 engagements with civil society organisations around accessing funding opportunities. Drawing on evidence from 84 members in 36 countries, Eurochild advocated for policies to tackle child poverty, strengthen child protection, improve online safety, support unaccompanied children, and promote meaningful child participation. Through our re-granting and capacity-building programme, Eurochild helped expand services reaching more than 23,000 children and their families, while also responding to emergencies and conflicts.
Receiving unrestricted donations, such as through the Step Up Challenge with the Macro Group, allows Eurochild to allocate the funds as we see best, rather than tying it to ringfenced activities. Unrestricted funds helps organisations like ours grow. It can support our work to involve children and our member civil society organisations meaningfully in European decision-making, strengthen our online presence, and help us grow the capacity of our Secretariat team.
The well-being of Europe’s children is a shared responsibility.
