Ridni Foundation turns 13 years old

Eurochild member Ridni marks 13 years of empowering children in Ukraine who have faced loss, displacement, or separation, helping them heal, grow, and find family.

The foundation provides tangible support to children and families across Ukraine, including during crisis periods, such as the full-scale russian invasion. It operates throughout the country and has programmes in the Zakarpattia, Dnipro, Kyiv, Chernivtsi, and Lviv regions. Some of the achievements of the organisation:

  • 11,085 families have received material and psychological assistance
  • 54,747 children have taken part in educational, cultural, and social activities
  • 3,137 specialists have gained new knowledge to better support children
  • 60 children found new families, feeling warmth and care

«We are deeply grateful for your trust and involvement. It is thanks to you that we can grow, reach more children, and make kindness a driving force for change. Your support fills our shared mission with meaning, inspiration, and faith that change is possible - even in the most difficult times. When kindness multiplies, the world becomes warmer.»- Maryana Romanyak, CEO of Ridni

Ridni joined Eurochild in May 2025: "For us, membership in Eurochild is not only recognition of our work but also new opportunities. Children’s voices should be heard not only at the national but also at the European level. Our joint work with Eurochild is another step towards ensuring that children in Ukraine grow up in a safe, caring, and dignified environment."
